July update from Montville Art Gallery
Our artist in the spotlight this month is Gary Myers. A local artist with over 30 solo exhibitions to his name, his style reflects a larrikin flavour. His colours are bright, his subject matter and compositions are strong and his impact as an artist is very memorable. To see all of Gary’s available works click here. |
A new large scale work has arrived from Wayne Malkin. Titled ‘Currimundi’, it depicts the sand hill at the entrance to the Currimundi Lake, here on the Sunshine Coast, on a perfect cloudless day. For full details, click here. |
Those who collect bronze sculptures always seem so passionate about their interest. One of the artists generating this excitement is Catherine Anderson, whose recent new editions that arrived into the gallery include ‘German Shorthair Pointer’ and ‘The Arab’, at the same time elegant, animated and classical. For more details on these and more of Catherines’ work, click here. |
We carry an extensive range of Jan Jorgensen limited edition giclee prints, available both framed and unframed. These are taken from her well-known Brisbane street-scapes, and are full of typical Queensland colour and vitality. |
